Dot
An AI buddy that lives next to your cursor.
Hold Control + Option, ask anything, and Dot answers out loud — it sees your screen, points at the thing it means, and can even click around for you when you ask. Inference is on us; you just need a Google account.
macOS 14.2 or later. After downloading, open the app and sign in.
How it works
- Download the macOS app and drag it to Applications.
- Open it from the menu bar (small dot icon, top right of the screen).
- Click Sign in with Google. Your browser opens; pick your account.
- You're in. Hold Control + Option and start talking.
What's included
- Claude (Sonnet 4.6 default, Opus 4.6 optional) for the brain
- AssemblyAI streaming transcription for fast voice → text
- ElevenLabs voice for the spoken replies
- A blue cursor overlay that flies to whatever Dot is talking about
- Daily usage limits per account so nobody can drain the shared bill — your own quota is shown on your account page.
Privacy
Audio is transcribed by AssemblyAI, sent to Claude with your screenshot, and the response is read back through ElevenLabs. None of that text is stored on our server beyond the immediate request — only counts (per call, per day) for quota and usage views.
