Hold Control + Option to ask anything out loud or Cmd + Shift + Space to type, and Dot answers out loud. Dot sees your screen, points at the thing it means, and can even click around for you when you ask. Inference is on us; you just need a Google account.

How it works

  1. Download the macOS app and drag it to Applications.
  2. Open it from the menu bar (small dot icon, top right of the screen).
  3. Click Sign in with Google. Your browser opens; pick your account.
  4. You're in. Hold Control + Option to talk, or press Command + Shift + Space to type a command.

Privacy

Dot does not continuously record your screen. When you use a voice or typed turn, Dot sends that transcript plus a fresh screenshot through Vibe Research to Claude; audio transcription uses AssemblyAI, and spoken replies use ElevenLabs. Vibe Research keeps usage counts and billing records, not raw transcripts, screenshots, or model responses.
