Dot is a screen-aware AI assistant for Mac.

Tap Dot or press Globe + Control to ask anything out loud, or press Globe to type in chat. Dot answers out loud, sees your screen, points at the thing it means, and can even click around for you when you ask. Inference is on us; you just need a Google account.

How it works

On macOS, download the app and drag it to Applications.
On macOS, open Dot from the menu bar, then click Sign in with Google.
You're in. Tap Dot or press Globe + Control to talk, or press Globe to type in chat.
Windows support is coming soon.

Privacy

Dot does not continuously record your screen. When you use a voice or typed turn, Dot sends that transcript plus a fresh screenshot through Vibe Research to Claude; audio transcription uses AssemblyAI, and spoken replies use ElevenLabs. Vibe Research keeps usage counts and billing records, not raw transcripts, screenshots, or model responses. Read the privacy policy.
